The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® was founded as the National Association of Real Estate Exchanges on May 12, 1908 at the YMCA Auditorium in Chicago, IL. National Association of Real Estate Exchanges’ objective was “to unite the real estate men of America for the purpose of effectively exerting a combined influence upon matters affecting real estate interests.”
The Association became the largest trade association in the United States in the early 1970s, with over 400,000 members. Today, the National Association of REALTORS® has over 1.2 million members, 54 State Associations (including Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands) and more than 1,400 local Associations.

The Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) is a professional body aimed at unifying the facility management industry in the Middle East region. The association shall conduct research, provide educational programs, and assist corporate and organizational facility managers in developing strategies to manage human, facility and real estate resources within their country. MEFMA shall develop products and services to assist the future of FM in the Middle East, for example, benchmark studies, minimum FM design requirements per building usage etc.

Society of Engineers – UAE was formally organized on April 03, 1979 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs – Ministerial Decree No. 33 1979 to facilitate the increasing demands in professional expertise and accreditation of the engineers in the UAE. The society is a semi- government sector and a nonprofit organization who strives to provide great services to its 26,000 members.
Society of Engineers – UAE celebrates its 33 years of exceptional service to the public. We have accomplished outstanding achievements in accrediting the engineering certifications, regulating professional practices, standards and specifications and developing the skills and qualifications of all engineers in the UAE by our International accreditation committee. Society of Engineers – UAE joined the Arab Engineers Federation in 1984, World Federation Engineering Organization in 1985 and Gulf Engineering Union in 1986. We are recognized by the ISO – 9001:2008 as the first engineering society acquiring the ISO certification in 2004.
