Master of Real Estate Development

Aim

Master of Real Estate Development builds on the foundations developed through the Graduate Diploma program and provides for advancement and specialization in the area of real estate development.

The Master of Real Estate Development consists of twelve courses (three semester equivalent), including a research project. Graduates will be equipped through their studies with all the necessary professional and technical competencies to operate as effective leaders and managers in the real estate development industry in the United Arab Emirates, the region and internationally.

Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the Master of Real Estate Development will gain knowledge and skills central to the practice of the field including being equipped to:

  • Understand the different components of the real estate market including the institutional, legal, economic and financial framework.
  • Explain the interrelationship between key process and stakeholders in real estate.
  • Plan and execute a real estate development project, from concept through to exit strategy.
  • Analyse the real estate market, evaluate and appraise investment opportunities.
  • Develop effective real estate marketing strategies.
  • Locate information sources, conduct research and present information in a variety of contexts.
  • Approach complex problems and develop strategies to resolve them.
